The Legion is a non-profit, self sustained organization with approximately 1,500 branches in Canada, the United States and Europe with over 340,000 members. As well as community service, comradeship, sports and social activities, Legion members receive Legion Magazine, one of Canada’s largest paid-circulation periodicals, devoted to veterans and seniors issues, Canadian war-time history and Legion affairs. There is also an excellent members’ benefit package which provides members with reduced costs for goods and services through cooperating companies.

Contrary to popular belief, membership in the Royal Canadian Legion is no longer restricted to military personal or veterans. If you are a Canadian citizen, you are eligible for membership. Please contact us for more information.
Membership renewal forms are now available online. You have the option of printing the form and filling it in manually, or preferably, filling it out online and then printing it off. In either case, you must mail the form to the Branch with your renewal fee ($62.50), or present it to the branch in person.

Some browsers may not work well with PDF forms.. if you are using Google Chrome, there should be no problem. Firefox does not seem to support forms.. at the top right, there should be a button to “Open with a Different Viewer” – click this and open with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Internet Explorer may also have problems if you are not using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat – updating your current version may not automatically update to the newest version: you need to remove your old version and go to the Adobe site and download and install the latest version. If all else fails, right click on the link above and save the PDF file to your computer, where you can then open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
